Prep Pocket & Prep Pac For that little bit of extra storage or as a compartment for your essentials: hidden in the down tube of the 8 series is a spacious, rattle-free storage compartment – the Prep Pocket. It is locked tightly with a lever and offers space for snacks, an inner tube, or the Prep Pack, a bag specifically designed for this compartment. The Prep Pack provides space for things like a tool, a cartridge, or a couple of tire levers. Additionally, items can be attached to the inside of the pocket lid with a strap. Furthermore, the bag cannot slide down thanks to a special bolt in the frame. You can quickly read from the Velcro fastener on the bag whether you have reached its packing capacity so that it fits perfectly into the Prep Pocket.
