The 1x-specific frame design continues to provide short chainstays, which can now accommodate tires up to an impressive 50mm. The derailleur hanger has been updated to UDH to ensure future compatibility, and the downtube now features the exclusive Bear-Box in-frame storage, which further increases transport capacity for adventures. The short chainstays, longer top tube, and shorter stems – features that make the Headlands so popular – remain a central component of the gravel experience: stable and comfortable on flat routes, but with even more confidence when things get technical. Thanks to internal cable routing and numerous mounting points on the frame, you can pack everything from water bottles and spare tubes to a complete custom frame bag. At the same time, conventional racks and mudguards can be mounted, making the bike a capable winter commuter in no time.
