Steel has a long tradition in bicycle construction and is experiencing a renaissance today. The great advantage of steel is that it is more elastic than other materials such as aluminum and titanium, which allows it to better absorb road irregularities and provides a more comfortable ride. Especially on longer tours and on rough surfaces, the steel frame shows its best side. First-class shifting comfort The Pinion gearbox is the perfect solution for riders looking for a low-maintenance and robust shifting system. With up to 12 gears and a gear ratio range of 600%, you have the right gears available for every incline, every terrain, and every speed. This gearbox is positioned centrally at the bottom bracket, which ensures ideal weight distribution and keeps the bike stable and agile in any terrain. Compared to conventional derailleur gears, it offers a significantly longer service life, as all moving parts are securely housed in the casing and neither dirt nor water can penetrate. Quiet, clean, and durable The Gates Carbon Drive belt system perfectly complements the gearbox and takes reliability and ride quality to a new level. Instead of a classic chain that needs regular lubrication, cleaning, and replacement, this bike uses a long-lasting carbon belt that works entirely without lubricants and does not wear out. Thanks to this almost maintenance-free drive, the Aristos PI Gravel remains a reliable companion even on long tours or in remote regions. The clean, efficient, and extremely durable system is ideal for all those who seek adventure without having to constantly worry about technical maintenance. Highest precision at the touch of a button The Rennstahl 853 Pi is equipped with electronic shifting that makes changing gears more precise and easier than ever before. With a single press of a button, you can change gears in a flash, even under load, in challenging riding situations, or in extreme weather conditions. The electronic shifting operations are extremely fast, almost silent, and always reliable. In addition, the system ensures that you are always in the optimal gear, which significantly improves your efficiency and the riding experience.
